The Alps

Some pictures from my self-imposed exile to the mountains last week. These were taken at Les 2 Alpes, where I rode for 2 days. I also went to Alpes d'Huez but the weather and visibility were terrible and it was too wet to bring out my camera.

The highest peak at Les 2 Alpes is almost 4,000 metres high. Just to give you an idea, Blackcomb's highest peak is at around 2,300 metres. It was hard to breathe but the view was absolutely stunning and I spent almost an hour just up there hiking around and taking in the scenery.
